Al-Ahwal, in collaboration with the House of Journal of the Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH), paid a visit to the House of Journal of IAIN Kudus in order to maintain and to improve the quality and accreditation of the FSH Journals.
This opportunity was warmly welcomed by Pak Dr. Muhamad Mustaqim, Managing Editor of the Qudus International Journal of Islamic Studies (QIJIS), and Pak Dr. Fuad Munajat, the secretary of Research Center of IAIN Qudus (LPPM).

Mustaqim, as Managing Editor of QIJIS and Chairman of the House of Journal of IAIN Kudus, was overjoyed to receive a visit from his "mbah" [grandfather] who was initially being the instrument(al) in the establishment of various journals at IAIN Kudus, most notably QIJIS. "Yes, years ago, our editors were actually (lecturers) from UIN Sunan Kalijaga, and we are overjoyed to finally be able to meet our mentor informally today," Mustaqim said in welcoming the FSH group's arrival.

Furthermore, Dr. Fuad Munajat stated, "We used to be desperate to meet, but due to the pandemic conditions, we were finally able to do so today. Hopefully, this meeting and friendship will continue in the form of good collaboration for each institution's advancement, particularly for IAIN Kudus's Journals and possibly for FSH UIN Sunan Kalijaga as well, which is actually older than us."
This visit is expected to foster the quality of all journals under the House of Journals of FSH in the future, especially to upgrade the accreditation and indexation, in the hope of following the reputation of QIJIS as one of the well-reputed journals in Indonesia (indexed by Scopus, and stayed in Quartile 1 according to SJR).
